A hailstone collected in Kingfisher, OK measures at nearly 3 inches. Our partners with the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) conducted field hail studies prior to the historical indoor hail simulation at the IBHS Research Center in South Carolina on February 20, 2013.
