Taken in Clarksville, Virginia. This late Victorian commercial-style building was a hardware story from turn of the 20th century into 1940s. It’s also been a florist, an antique shop and a coffee shop. Today the right portion is an antique store and the left is vacant. The two-story, 6 bay brick structure brick has 6 windows on the 2nd level with small indented decorative crosses between them. The 2nd floor windows have cast –stone hoods. Both storefronts have large display windows. The store on the left retains the original pressed-metal cornice and decorative parapet. The two metal squares are building supports. VDHR ID: 192-0121-0006 [Virginia Department of Historic Resources] This structure was added June 6, 2002 to the National Register of Historic Places as part of Clarksville Historic District, reference ID #02000625
